🚲 What is the FMD? (Sustainable Mobility Package)

The FMD is financial support granted by employers to help employees switch to more sustainable modes of transportation for their home-to-work commute.

💲Each company defines the amount and terms of the support it provides to its employees. There are two payment methods:

  • 💳 Mobility voucher (Betterway, Arval, Pluxee, etc.):
    The company credits the card with a defined amount. The employee can pay directly with the card without advancing any money.

    For these vouchers, the payment is made in two steps:
    • First with the available balance on the mobility card

    • Then with the employee’s personal card for the remaining amount

  • 📄 BeeToGreen invoice: the employee pays upfront, and we automatically send the invoice to the company’s HR department so the employee can be reimbursed on their next payslip.
    • To be reimbursed for a purchase in the current month, the order must be placed before the 12th of the month. After that date, the reimbursement will occur at the end of the following month.

Company reimbursement frequency:

  • Monthly: Some companies grant a non-cumulative monthly allowance. In this case, employees must choose long-term rental (LLD) to use the benefit.

  • Annually: Most companies allocate an annual budget, usually renewed on January 1st. If the allowance is not used by December 31st, it is lost.
