🔒 Which Locks Are Eligible for Theft Insurance During a Long-Term Rental (LLD)?

When a customer subscribes to a Long-Term Rental (LLD), it is essential to ensure that their bike will be properly protected with an approved lock.

👉 This is a key step to guarantee that the theft insurance will apply in case of an incident.

Your role as a partner store

1. Always ask the customer whether they already have an approved lock.
2. Check with them that their lock meets the criteria listed below.
3. If they do not have one, offer a compliant lock available in your store.
   This is both a requirement for the insurance to be valid and an opportunity for additional sales.

📌 Eligibility conditions for reimbursement in case of theft

✔️ Approved lock categories:

• FUB: minimum 2 wheels

• Sold Secure: Gold or higher

• ART: 2 stars or more

• SRA

✔️ Accepted brands with minimum security ratings:

• ABUS Folding locks: 11/15 and above
• ABUS Non-folding locks: 8/15 and above
• AXA: 10 and above
• KRYPTONITE: 6/10 and above
• ONGUARD: 70/100 and above
• TRELOCK: 10/15 and above
