I can no longer pay my monthly instalments

1️⃣ Amicable phase :

After around two weeks of non-payment, we send you a reminder. If your contract is funded by your employer, your HR manager is also informed.

At any point, you can settle the amount owed directly from your customer account: go to “My orders” → “Payment schedule” → “Pay now”.

2️⃣ Legal phase :

If the situation remains unresolved, your contract is automatically terminated. After four months of non-payment, your file is passed to a bailiff (huissier de justice) and the vehicle must be returned.

3️⃣ Financial consequences :

If the situation is not resolved, you remain liable for:
- the full amount of unpaid monthly instalments accumulated;

- a non-return indemnity, calculated based on how many months you have already paid (as a percentage of the bike’s price, including tax);
- a non-return penalty (see below);

- any applicable debt collection fees.

Non-return penalty. This is equal to the residual value of the vehicle, plus 50% of the price of any accessories (including tax). It is calculated from the bike’s original purchase price (including tax), applying a depreciation rate based on the number of instalments already paid: the more instalments you have paid, the lower the residual value — and therefore the penalty.
