Your bike's mandatory marking: what you need to know
Under current regulations, new bikes must carry a mandatory identification. Your bike is marked and linked to the national register of identified cycles (FNUCI). This marking connects your bike to its owner and makes it easier to recover in case of theft or loss.
When your bike is shipped, it is first registered under BeeToGreen's name. At the time of sale, we update this registration to record you as the owner, using the information you provide. Please make sure your details are accurate and up to date, especially your e-mail.
Your marking ID and certificate let you prove that you are the owner of your bike.
If your bike is stolen, report it to the police, then flag your bike as stolen with the marking operator so its status is updated in the national register. Have your marking ID ready.
