# 🛑 Can an employee terminate their rental contract during the LLD period?

## Yes, it is possible to terminate your Long-Term Rental (LLD) contract with BeeToGreen before the end of the term.

### ✅ Can I terminate my Long-Term Rental (LLD) contract early?

Yes, it is possible to terminate your **Long-Term Rental (LLD) contract with BeeToGreen** before the end of the term. However, this involves paying an **Early Termination Fee (ETF)**, which depends on the remaining duration of your contract.

### 1. Amount of the Early Termination Fee (ETF)

📌 **For a 36-month contract**:

- Between months 7 and 12: **50%** of the bike + accessories price (incl. tax)
- Between months 13 and 24: **30%** of the bike + accessories price (incl. tax)
- Between months 25 and 36: **20%** of the bike + accessories price (incl. tax)

📌 **For a 24-month contract**:

- Between months 13 and 24: **20%** of the bike + accessories price (incl. tax)

### 2. Want to cancel earlier than the periods listed above?

#### 🚲 **Option #1: Pay remaining monthly instalments and return the bike**

- You’ll need to pay all remaining monthly payments until the end of your contract (excluding insurance and maintenance).
- Then, return the bike following the return procedure.

💡 Ideal option if you simply want to end the rental.

#### 🚴‍♂️ **Option #2: Buy the bike at a preferential price**

- If your bike is still recent, **BeeToGreen** may offer to sell it to you at a price close to its original value.
- This option allows you to **keep your bike** while avoiding termination fees.

💡 Ideal option if you wish to keep the bike and avoid early termination costs.

### 📊 How to estimate the current value of your bike?

A bike naturally loses value over time. Here is an average depreciation estimate based on the original retail price:

- **Year 1**: -30% → Remaining value: **70%**
- **Year 2**: -20% → Remaining value: **50%**
- **Year 3**: -20% → Remaining value: **30%**

💡 *Actual value depends on the bike’s condition and maintenance. A well-maintained bike retains value better!*
