Some companies use mobility vouchers as part of the contribution to which their employees are entitled. The Worklife card is one of these mobility vouchers.

💳 The Worklife Card: A Smart Solution for Sustainable Commuting

The Worklife card is a prepaid payment solution designed for employee benefits, particularly for the Sustainable Mobility Package (FMD). It allows employers to directly transfer mobility-related allowances for commuting to work, in full compliance with legal standards.

🔹 How does the Worklife card work?

  • Prepaid Mastercard, only valid for eligible expenses

  • Can be used to pay for the purchase, rental, or maintenance of bikes, e-scooters, and accessories

  • The employer credits the card with the FMD amount (up to €800/year per employee)

📌 Examples

  • Amazon employees receive a monthly contribution of €66. If not used, it is lost. Therefore, they can only opt for long-term rental (LLD) to benefit from it.

  • Other cardholders may receive 50% of the purchase value covered (up to a limit defined by their employer). In these cases, they pay the full amount with the Worklife card, and half of it is automatically debited from their linked bank account.

💼 How to process a payment with a Worklife card?

You can treat the Worklife card just like a regular bank card in the BeeToGreen sales module. Since it is already linked to the employee’s personal bank account, no split payment is needed. 👌

⚠️ Important: If the total amount exceeds €2,500, a €2,500 down payment must be made with the Worklife card. The remaining amount must be paid using a personal card via the customer’s BeeToGreen account.

🔍 Good to know…

Before using their Worklife card, employees must complete the following steps:

  1. Sign a declaration of honour directly on the home page of the Worklife app

  2. Link their Worklife card to their personal IBAN (via the "Payment Methods" section in the app)

  3. Order their physical card (through the app or by requesting it from HR)
